ANZAC Service

Our ANZAC service at school was to remember all the service people who went to war for us.

It was a very warm and moving ceremony and the lady from the RSA appreciated the writings and poems we had written.

Malachi carried the flag for us while Mya carried the cross.  Saphire and Mele placed our wreath while Kiana read our class poem.

Room 6

Our poem is about the Anzacs who went to Gallipoli in Turkey.

Gallipoli

Gallipoli is where the ANZACs went
Anzac Cove is the place they landed
Last Post is what they heard at the end of the day
Lots of soldiers went to battle
In the trenches, they kept safe
Poppies grew in the fields where they fell
On ANZAC day, we remember them
Lest We Forget
Injury and death they suffered to bring us peace

We Will Remember Them

Raindrops

Our black clouds with raindrops; we drew the raindrops and black clouds with crayons then used the dye to create the dark sky.
