Remembering the ANZACs

For the last 2 weeks we have been learning about the ANZAC's.  We have learned about the symbols, why we should remember them and some events that had happened during the wars.

ANZAC Poem

A is for the ANZAC soldiers who went to the war.
B is for the bravery that they showed the world.
C is for the courage that they had.
D is for the danger they faced.
E is for the enemies they fought.
F is for the families that they left behind.
G is for the guards who looked out for the dangers.
H is for the heros that they were.
I is for the intelligence that they showed.
J is for the joining of the forces.
K is for keeping us safe.
L is for the landing at ANZAC cove.
M is for the marching at the dawn parade.
N is for the New Zealand soldiers.
O is for the oceans they crossed.
P is for the poppy that we wear.
Q is for the quiet at ANZAC service.
R is for remembering them.
S is for saving our country.
T is for the trenches that they built.
U is for the underground hidings.
V is for the villains they met.
W is for the wars they were in.
X is for X-mas they didn’t celebrate.
Y is for the young soldiers we lost.
Z is for zooming from one hide spot to next.
