Our maths lesson is always a busy time for us. There are independent activities to do that are fun and challenging then there's thinking time, sharing time and listening time.

Collecting Natural Items
We went on a hikoi to collect some natural items for our descriptive writing.
We found pine cones that looked like hedgehog, twigs with lichens growing on it, stick, leaves of different shapes and sizes, spiky pine leaves that looked like dust brushes. The pine cone smell reminded us of Christmas!
Swimming with the Tutors

| We started our swimming lessons with the tutors. It is a lot of fun and we are learning a lot of skills such as how to move our arms, kick with our feet and breathe at the same time!! |

Welcome to 2016
We are the students in Room 5. We like to learn and share our ideas and we like working together as a team. We like coming to school and playing with our friends.
